MASON RUFFNER

Il faut absolument que je dise un mot sur ce type qui est l'un des meilleurs rockers de la planète
Courrez écouter ses cds, le voir sur scène (ce sera plus difficile), ce type est au-dessus de la mélée de tout ce qui peut sortir dans le style disons blues/rock.
(Mason est très inspiré par le blues mas il fait du rock principalement c'est la raison pour laquelle je l'ai classé dans cet rubrique.)

Mason combine des paroles provocantes avec de la super musique.
Mason a réalisé 6 albums. Il a enregistré et joué avec des gens comme Bob Dylan , Daniel Lanois , U2, Jimmy Page, Ringo Starr, Crosby, Stills and Nash
Carlos Santana a repris une de ses compositions "Angel Love" et le recoit souvent comme guest guitariste dans ses concerts.
Tous sont très élogieux a son égard. Bob Dylan est probablement sont plus grand fan ( avec moi) :

There is a cool picture in the book of Mason playing Club 544 on Bourbon St. in New Orleans. Here is a quote from the book "You Can't Stop A Comet": "Stevie had played Tipitins's several times and we always had so much fun there. I mean how can ya play New Orleans and not have fun? I remember one time we were walkin' down Bourbon St. and danged if Stevie didn't hear this guitar tone come blowin' out of somewhere and took off. Whipper, Tommy and I looked at each other like, "what the hell is goin' on?" and it was just this guitar tone that Stevie heard and it was coming from Mason Ruffner a great guitar player who later played with Bob Dylan. When we finally got to where Stevie had ran into we found him sittin' right in front of Mason watchin' him, listenin' to him goin'. "wow!" and I looked at Whipper like "I think we're gonna be here for awhile."
